MRL publishes one official, percentile-based Season OVR per eligible player season. Every player is shown on one league-wide scale rather than in separate tier leaderboards.
A player's main OVR is their newest officially published Season OVR. When the active season has a publication, it is labeled Current Season OVR. Until then, the newest earlier publication is labeled Latest Season OVR. Career OVR is a separate official career rating and never fills a missing Season OVR slot.
Players are evaluated against historical standards for the positions they actually played. Mixed-position results are combined using the player's appearances before producing one Season OVR. The published percentile shown on player pages is a separate public ranking of that official Season OVR among published ratings at the same rated position that season.
Competition context follows the regular-season games the player actually appeared in. Every eligible appearance matters when a player moves between tiers, and there is no artificial tier OVR cap.
Small samples carry less certainty. Strong lower-tier players can outrank weaker Pro players on the same league-wide scale. Official ratings use completed, approved regular-season data.
Career OVR is the official career rating and may be available after one eligible season. Where V4.2-compatible career data is unavailable, an approved verified historical career basis may be used. Public pages describe this as a historical record without exposing internal publication evidence.
